Privacy Policy

WodNex is operated by Ioannis Katerinis ("WodNex", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used and handled when you use the WodNex application and related services.
1. Information you provide
When you create or use a WodNex account, we may process information such as your email address, display name, account identifier, profile image and authentication status.
You may also choose to provide athlete and performance information, including your sport, training level, height, weight, date of birth, personal records, one-repetition maximum values, Hyrox personal bests, training preferences and other profile information.
If you join our launch list, we store your email address only to tell you when WodNex launches. To have it removed, email support@wodnex.com.
2. Workout and performance data
WodNex may store information related to your training activity, including workouts, results, times, repetitions, movements, personal records, pacing, training history, streaks and performance analytics.
This information is used to provide workout tracking, progress views, analytics and other training-related functionality inside WodNex.
3. Health and fitness data
Where supported and only after you grant permission, WodNex may read selected health and fitness information from Apple HealthKit, such as heart rate, active energy burned and workout information.
Health access is optional. WodNex does not require HealthKit access for basic account use.
WodNex may store derived workout information such as average heart rate or calories associated with your training activity. Raw HealthKit samples are not used for advertising or marketing purposes and are not sent to Woddy for AI processing.
4. Woddy AI
WodNex includes an AI-assisted coaching feature called Woddy.
When you use Woddy, selected training context may be provided to our AI service provider in order to generate a response. This may include your first name, training level, sport, workout summaries, personal records, streak information, one-repetition maximum values, Hyrox personal bests, performance analytics and information derived from your WodNex activity.
Your email address, Firebase user identifier, push notification token, RevenueCat identifier, workout notes and raw HealthKit samples are not intentionally included in the Woddy AI context.
Woddy conversations are used to provide the requested AI interaction. WodNex does not treat AI responses as medical advice or professional coaching instructions.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
If you purchase WodNex Premium, subscription and entitlement information may be processed through Apple, Google and RevenueCat.
WodNex does not receive or store your full payment card details.
6. Notifications
If you enable notifications, WodNex may process a device notification token and related information required to deliver app notifications through services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging.
You can disable notifications through your device settings.
7. Diagnostics and performance
We may use Firebase services to support app operation, diagnostics, performance monitoring, security and reliability.
These services may process technical information about your device, application version, usage events, crashes or performance events where enabled by the application and platform.
8. Leaderboards and social features
If you participate in leaderboard or community functionality, selected profile and performance information may be displayed to other WodNex users as part of those features.
9. Service providers
WodNex relies on third-party service providers to operate parts of the service. These may include:
- Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage, notifications and infrastructure;
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management;
- Anthropic for Woddy AI functionality;
- Apple for App Store, HealthKit and platform services;
- Google for Google Play and Android platform services.
Information is shared with service providers only as necessary to provide the relevant functionality, operate the service or meet legal obligations.
10. Data retention
We retain account and app data for as long as necessary to provide WodNex, maintain your account, comply with applicable legal obligations and resolve legitimate operational or security issues.
When your account is deleted, WodNex initiates deletion of the app data associated with your account, subject to any information that must be retained for legal, security or transactional reasons.
11. Account deletion
You can request deletion directly in WodNex by going to Settings → Delete Account.
Account deletion may remove your profile, workout history, performance data, analytics, leaderboard data, AI-related account data, uploaded profile images, generated share content and authentication account.
Deleting your WodNex account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.

12. Your choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection regarding your personal information.

13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through WodNex. No electronic system or method of transmission can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Children
WodNex is intended for users who are permitted to use the service under applicable law and platform requirements. If we become aware that personal information has been collected in violation of applicable age requirements, we will take appropriate steps to address it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when WodNex, our service providers or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
